Privacy Policy

This policy covers recombinationfinance.com and the Recombination Finance iOS app. The short version: we keep only what we need to run the service, and the finance tool does not store the figures you enter.

What we collect

• Account details. If you create an account, we store your email address, a securely hashed password and your plan status. This is handled by our authentication provider, Supabase.
• Payment details. If you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Company evaluations. If you use the corporate, enterprise or CFD evaluation tools, each evaluation you submit (its inputs, settings and result) is saved so it can be sealed with a fingerprint, verified later and followed up. These records are stored with our host, Netlify.
• Twin Watch pilot requests. If your company is in a pilot and requests a Twin Watch report or reports an outcome, we store the company name, ticker, your relationship to it, any figures you enter, your notes, the date, the outcome you report and the email address the report should go to. These records are stored with our host, Netlify, and outcomes may be added, without your contact details, to the twin library Twin Watch learns from.
• Reminder emails. If you ask for a follow-up reminder, we store the email address you give us until the reminder is sent. Reminder and password-reset emails are sent through our email provider, Resend.
• Basic server logs. Our host, Netlify, keeps standard technical logs such as IP address and request time, for security and reliability.

What we don't store

• Your finance-tool figures. The numbers you enter into the Nexus finance engine are processed to produce your result and are not saved. To improve recommendations over time, we keep a scaled summary of each result (normalized scores, not your figures). If you are signed in, it is stored with your account ID so a later outcome can be matched to it.
• Rule Audit data. The Rule Audit runs entirely in your browser. Rules, test ranges and uploaded CSV files are not sent to us. Its run history is kept only in your own browser's storage, and you can clear it at any time.

How we use information

Only to sign you in, provide the service, manage your subscription, keep the site secure and reply when you contact us. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. The site does not use analytics or advertising trackers.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers named above (Supabase, Netlify, Resend and, if you subscribe, Stripe), and only as needed to run the service, or when the law requires it. Some pages also load fonts from Google Fonts and code libraries from cdnjs, which receive your IP address when they deliver those files.

Artificial intelligence

Nexus and Twin Watch calculate their results with fixed formulas, rules and statistical matching against historical filings. They are not generative AI, and what you enter is not sent to an AI model or used to train one.

Downloads

CSV, PDF and ZIP files you download are created in your own browser from the results on your screen. We do not receive a copy of the file. To make PDF and ZIP files, the tools load two standard libraries from the cdnjs network run by Cloudflare, which can see your IP address when it serves them.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account at any time on the My Account page, on the website or in the app. This removes your account record. If you have a subscription, cancel it first, because deleting your account does not stop billing on its own.

Children

Recombination Finance is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
